Six Ways to Use Your Chamber Membership To Your Advantage!

Now is a great time to utilize the free benefits that come with your Chamber membership and make sure you’re keeping your customers engaged and up to date with anything that has changed with your business.

Sign up for our Member Benefits Virtual Session taking place on April 16th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm! Members, if you or someone in your organization would like a benefits refresher you are invited to join us to learn about all the ways to promote your business and become more involved with the Chamber. Invite a fellow community member who isn’t part of the Chamber yet so they can also see what we have to offer.  During this event, we provide information on the current Chamber staff, how to use our website, services we provide, programs, sponsorships, and marketing. It is a great opportunity for you to learn how to maximize a Chamber membership and begin networking with other members right away. We recommend you head out to your favorite member restaurant and bring in lunch while you learn more about the Chamber! Register here.

Make sure your online directory listing is up to date! Did you move or change any of your contact information during the last year? Then you’ll want to make sure you log in through your member portal to update your information. Search for your listing on our member directory so you can see what is listed now. You can change your description and even add another listing category to your profile at no charge. Make sure that if you are a restaurant but offer catering you are listed under both categories. If you need any help please reach out to the chamber staff by email and we will be happy to assist you!

Do you have a sale, promo, event, or have news to share? If so, send your information in paragraph form or your press release to businessnews@wschamber.org we compile all that information in our monthly ConnectionsNewsletter and send it out to over 1,600 member contacts. Make sure you include a link if you have an event with registration or your website has more details, and we will link it for you.

Are you hosting an event? Consider adding it to our Community Calendar as well! Log in to our member portal using the same username and password community calendar and submit your event with all of the details you want to be included. Once a staff member approves the event it will be shown on the calendar for all to see!

Add A Job Posting…do you have an open position and are looking for a quality employee? If so take a minute to add your job description to the website on our job postings page. They can be listed for 60 days and it is a free member benefit to you! Click here to view our current job postings and add yours to the list.
