Legislators’ Forums – House of Representatives and Senate
Two separate morning events where our Members of the PA House of Representatives and Senate serving Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties offer their insight on how the upcoming session may impact the regional business community. This event is presented by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC in partnership with the Carlisle Area, Perry County, and West Shore Chambers of Commerce.
Elected Officials Reception
An important night highlighting our local elected officials. The Chambers invite area municipal officials, local school board members, county officials, state representatives, senators, and congressmen servicing Cumberland County. We kick off the evening with a special recognition of the elected officials in attendance, then share in an hors d’oeuvres buffet and beverages. The West Shore Chamber of Commerce is honored to partner with the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce on this event.
Leadership Cumberland: Leaders at Lunch
Leaders at Lunch is a semi-annual luncheon series, held in the Spring and Fall, which recognizes local leaders in our community. The event provides them the opportunity to present their perspective on leadership and the current issues facing their industries and organizations. Leadership Cumberland is proud to be able to showcase these honorees and their stories throughout the years. Leaders at Lunch Honorees are chosen using the following qualifications: personify leadership, exemplify Leadership Cumberland goals, recognized accomplishments, has overcome obstacles and achieved goals, shows courage, and noted for innovation. Members of the Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce, Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA), Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce, and West Shore Chamber of Commerce enjoy networking at our regional mixer in Shippensburg.
Business Women’s Forum
Business Women’s Forum (BWF) is a day-long annual conference with a keynote speaker, geared toward professional women. The Business Women’s Forum is a collaboration of the Carlisle Area Chamber and the West Shore Chamber of Commerce. The mission is to provide opportunities for businesswomen of all professional levels to network, create business contacts, and develop additional leadership skills in a motivational and supportive environment.
