As a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, you have the opportunity to serve on a variety of committees. This is an excellent way to network with other members, serve our community, and address business interests and issues. Some committees meet monthly while others serve at the call of the Chair. Committee communications such as meeting notices, agendas, and notes are sent via email. The following committees have open enrollment and you can join them at any time.

GOLF

Meets: February, June, and October
The Golf Committee members plan and carry out the Chamber’s Annual Golf Outings and other golf-related events.

MEMBERSHIP
Chair: Brian Peters, Members 1st Federal Credit Union
Staff Liaison: Kristen Washington
Meets: Monthly on the 2nd Wednesday
The Membership Committee supports the Chamber’s efforts to develop new members and retain existing members. Members of this committee also serve as Member Mentors who help to facilitate networking with new members and reach out to members for feedback on membership benefits.

PROGRAMS & EVENTS COMMITTEE

Meets: Monthly on the 2nd Tuesday
The purpose of the committee is to have members act as a sounding board for creating, planning, and evaluating Chamber programs and events, based on input from our committees, Chamber members, and local communities.
