From Community Events to Mixers, the West Shore Chamber of Commerce organizes a wide variety of events to help your business grow and connect with other professionals in the local area.
Taste of the Chamber
Registered participants will enter to win one of three top cash prizes and other participating location gift cards during this 6-week long event! From February 9 – March 25, 2024, participants will visit our participating member locations and submit receipts for additional chances to win. Experience the best dishes and beverages from our food service members for a celebration of local fare!
Chamber Soiree
Attendees will enjoy a live band, dancing, and appetizers for this evening event. We spend the evening dancing the night away in our finest attire! Invite your friends, fellow Chamber members, or significant other to join you for this fun-filled evening.
Annual Golf Outing
This event is the Chamber’s premier golf outing. Attendees spend the day networking, building relationships, meeting potential customers, and having a great time, all while golfing. This outing features breakfast, 18 holes of golf, and a delicious lunch complete with awards. A portion of the event proceeds benefit a Chamber nonprofit member.
Putt It Into The Park
The Chamber’s favorite summer event! This unique and affordable event is family-friendly, open to the community, and perfect for a client or employee appreciation event. Starting at the Water Golf on City Island’s 18-hole course for a round of mini-golf and moving to FNB Field for a Harrisburg Senators game and a buffet dinner in the Club. Invite friends, family, clients, and co-workers for an affordable one-of-a-kind experience.
Golf FORE Business! Outing
This event is the Chamber’s second golf outing of the year. Attendees spend the day networking, building relationships, meeting potential customers, and having a great time. This outing features breakfast and 18 holes of golf. In addition, there is a secondary option of the networking breakfast and mini-golf to be used as a team building, family fun part of the event. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit a Chamber nonprofit member which is decided on by our Golf Committee.
Luminary Awards Luncheon
The Luminary Awards Luncheon honors two outstanding West Shore Chamber Businesswomen. Two awards are presented – the Visionary Award and the Shining Star Award. Nominations are made by their peers; the winners are chosen based on contributions in their work environment and community. A charitable donation in their honor is made to a Chamber nonprofit member of the award winners’ choice. Patron ads and well-wishes can be purchased for the luncheon program.
Annual Meeting & Dinner
The West Shore Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Dinner is a meeting where the Chamber recognizes its volunteers, elects incoming directors, and celebrates another year of promoting economic development on the West Shore. The Chamber’s annual awards are presented: the George C. Hoopy Award, the Les Ginanni Business & Community Connections Award, the Edward M. Messner Inspiring Business Award, and the Business Achievement Award.
