George C. Hoopy Award
Andrea Greene, Belco Community Credit Union
Andrea Greene, a proud recipient of the George C. Hoopy Award, is an engaged West Shore Chamber member who serves on the Membership Committee. She warmly welcomes new members and champions the Chamber’s mission to connect, elevate, and inspire. With 18 years at Belco Community Credit Union, Andrea exemplifies the Chamber’s core values of friendly, principled, connected, and professional while working to strengthen our business community. Andrea lives outside of Newville with her husband, David, and their two children Kate and Robert. She is a member of the Carlisle Rotary Sunrise Chapter, President of BNI Virtually Unstoppable, board member of the Launchpad Foundation and volunteers for the Cumberland Carlisle YWCA Sexual Assault Hotline. A lifelong believer of service above self.

Michael C. Verber, DMD, Verber Dental Group
Dr. Michael Verber is the CEO and Chairman of the Verber Dental Group, a nationally recognized dental health care system built on a culture of innovation, empowerment, kindness, and positivity. Under his leadership, the organization has become a model for modern, patient-centered dentistry and collaborative practice.
Beyond the dental group, Dr. Verber has co-founded an employee-owned media company; a real estate development firm, a dental continuing education institute, and an AI technology startup focused on advancing innovation in health care and education. His entrepreneurial work reflects a deep commitment to progress, professional growth, and community impact.
A passionate advocate for education and access to care, Dr. Verber has helped develop new dental programs at Central Penn College, where he serves as a Trustee, to address workforce shortages and expand access to oral health services across Pennsylvania. He also founded numerous political action committees aimed at addressing access to dental care and educational initiatives across PA.
Verber has served as dental faculty at multiple institutions, coached scholastic basketball, and served on several nonprofit boards, including as President of the Cumberland Valley Youth Basketball Association, where he has volunteered for over two decades. He has also served on the Eagle Foundation, supporting enrichment programs for underserved students, and the National MS Society (Central PA Chapter), helping is mother, Shelly Verber, raise more than $250,000 for MS research and family support. His greatest chartable effort involves his work selling hot dogs as the assistant manager at the volleyball booster concession stand.
Dr. Verber has been featured on the cover of Incisal Edge Magazine as one of the “32 Most Influential People in Dentistry” and named among the “40 Under 40 Best Dentists in America.” He was recognized as the 2025 Temple Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year, received the Agate Award at the Conference for Women, and led the Verber Dental Group to become a finalist for Business of the Year. Despite his other achievements, Dr. Verber proudly considers surviving four hours in the NYC American Girl Doll Store with his two daughters and wife his greatest accomplishment.

Michael R. Wilson, Members 1st Federal Credit Union
With over 20 years of senior leadership experience, Michael Wilson has a passion for people and entrepreneurial thinking. As President & CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Wilson guides the credit union’s mission to serve its members, associates and communities through support, empowerment and meaningful relationships.
Prior to his current role with Members 1st, Wilson served as a Cabinet official at the state level and went on to spend many years growing local businesses and organizations. He then brought his strong business and leadership background to Members 1st in July of 2016 as vice president of relationship management and has held several leadership roles within the credit union since joining the Members 1st FaM1ly, including his previous role as Chief Experience Officer.
Growing up in a military family that moved often, he found stability in his credit union. Since joining Members 1st, Wilson has focused on delivering an unparalleled member experience. Under his leadership since 2023, the credit union has grown significantly, expanding to 11 counties, surpassing 615,000 members and serving nearly 25,000 small businesses. He has also driven key achievements, including four consecutive Forbes Best-In-State Credit Union awards. In 2020, the credit union underwent a full digital transformation and brand evolution under Wilson’s leadership, enhancing online banking and introducing the credit union’s unique, personalized MyConcierge™ service. A dedicated leader who prioritizes service and mentorship, Wilson champions career growth and helped shape the credit union’s “Culture of WE” in 2018.
The credit union philosophy of “people helping people” has remained the cornerstone of Wilson’s leadership approach. A lifelong advocate of the tenets of servant leadership, he helped to found the Members 1st Charitable Foundation—a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to support grassroots organizations within southcentral and northeastern PA to make them stronger, healthier and more financially sound. In addition, Wilson serves on several boards and committees in the credit union industry and throughout the community, including CrossState Credit Union Foundation and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC). He has been recognized as a member of the Central Penn Business Journal’s Power 100 List among many other awards and recognitions.
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA, and recently received the distinction of honorary Doctorate in recognition for all of his community support, charitable efforts, and contributions to the small business community over the years. A respected member of the credit union movement, he graduated from the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) CEO Institute Program, earning executive certificates from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Wilson is also a graduate of the Leadership Harrisburg, Cumberland, Lancaster and Lebanon programs.
Outside of Members 1st, Wilson and his wife Amy love to travel and experience new places, enjoy delicious cuisine and sample new wines. They share a love for music, especially Hall & Oates, as well as their pug Marshall Mathers. With a deep understanding of the organization and a demonstrated history of leadership, Wilson looks forward to guiding the financially sound credit union toward further success.
