WHEELS 2020 Mentoring Program

It’s time for the third year of our WHEELS (Women Helping Elevate, Excel, Lead and Succeed) Mentoring Program! It was created by the Chambers’ Women in Business Roundtable Committee during 2017. Join WHEELS to grow and develop with strong, established women leaders mentoring other women while building relationships along the road to success. Each track runs from February to May, one session per month, with a Kickoff and Graduation Celebration. This year we are offering 3 tracks to choose from:

“Influencing Workplace Culture”
DRIVER:
 Kathleen Manna, Director – Employee Engagement, Mowery Construction

In this series of sessions, you will participate in meaningful discussions around employee engagement, workplace culture, and creating the best experience for your employees.  You will explore techniques to keep your employees engaged in all stages of their careers, as well as learn tactics to be your best leader as a female in the workplace.

“Making a Positive Impact as a Young Professional”
DRIVERS: Sara Kennedy, SVP Associate Experience, Members 1st Federal Credit Union &  Sarah Hornberger, Community Engagement Coordinator, Members 1st Federal Credit Union

Participants will learn strategies to grow their career by first utilizing DiSC to understand their unique leadership style. We will then explore how working a Multi-Generational environment impacts the way we build effective lateral relationships, increase our influence on Management, and how to get promoted. Participants will walk away with skills to manage up and increase their self-confidence. Sessions will be interactive, homework & self-reflection will bring course material to life!

“Rock Solid Relationships: Your Key to Being a Leader Who Makes a Difference”

For leaders, professional relationships matter most. They can also be the most difficult relationships to cultivate and maintain. In this track you will find out which relationships are the most important for your career. Plus, learn clear strategies that will give you the courage to step out of your comfort zone so you can become a relationship-driven leader.
