The 2019 BWF Business Woman of the Year is…
Business Women’s Forum (BWF), held on May 22nd, brought vendors and over 450 attendees for the largest women’s conference in the central Pennsylvania region. This year was BWF’s 25th year supporting Central Pennsylvanian women professionals hosted by Carlisle Area and West Shore Chambers of Commerce and Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. Attendees spent the day networking with other professionals and attending nine different educational breakout sessions.
Rebecca Foote, Vice President of Mortgage Lending and Owner of Foote Capital Mortgage, Rebecca understands the importance of personalized service and attention to detail. When advising her clients on financing their dream home, Rebecca puts her clients at ease through her understanding and patience. Rebecca has widespread knowledge of mortgage lending and attributes her success to providing the highest level of personalized service to each of her clients’ specific needs, whether they are building, purchasing or refinancing a home. Rebecca is eager to help make the home buying process easy and enjoyable. A graduate of Shippensburg University, Rebecca sits as Vice-Chairman of the advisory board for the Salvation Army in Carlisle and is involved with the Cumberland County Young Professionals, Junior Achievement, West Shore Chamber of Commerce, Carlisle Chamber of Commerce as well as other non-profits.
Thank you to Sarita Maybin, our brilliant keynote speaker, who taught us “How to Stay Positive and Focused in Uncertain Times.” Sarita is an international speaker, communication expert and author whose audiences have fun learning how to stay positive, constructively confront tough communication situations and work together better. During her 20-year speaking career, Sarita has spoken in ALL 50 states as well as many international locations. Sarita is a former University Dean of Students with a Master’s degree in Counseling.
