New Years Resolution: The Chamber and You in 2022!
It’s almost January, the month of resolutions. Have you made yours yet? Consider adding one more for this year and commit to getting more involved in your Chamber. There are so many ways that someone can get involved without spending all their time and money. Below we list a couple of ideas to help you “Jump Start” your membership for the new year.
Join us at an Annual Event! The Chamber hosts six events annually that our members and the community can come out and be a part of. We hope that you will join us at one of our premier events throughout the year. We will be hosting our Annual Golf Outing in May, our Golf FORE Business! Outing in August, our Luminary Awards Luncheon in September, our Business & Industry Night is finally back in October, and our Annual Meeting & Dinner in December. We are even looking to add a few more events that may interest you so make sure you keep an eye on our emails for those announcements.
Utilize the Chamber as a Business Resource. We are here for you: if you need a professional service, we will refer one of our more than 600 members to you. If you have a question, we will help you find the answer. There are no silly questions, reach out to us so we can help your business grow!
Make sure you follow the Chamber on social media. We are on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin and push out information on our major events, what is going on in real-time, and our #MemberBusinessNews. Follow along with what the Chamber is up to!

Sign in to your Member Login and make sure your information is up to date. Information is easily updated in real-time to our Online Membership Directory. Many of our community members and your fellow members are looking to the directory each month to search for the needs they may have and choose Chamber members first!
Take Notice and make sure that your membership plaque date sticker is up to date and that your window decal isn’t fading. Be proud and show off that you are a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce. If you need a new sticker or window decal just let one of the staff members know.
Attend a Networking Event. Hosted by our members, the Chamber holds Mixers at least once a month where our members show off their location and what they have to offer to the attendees. It’s a great time to meet other people and learn more about what they do. Non-members are able to attend up to two mixers, so bring a guest so they can learn more about what the West Shore Chamber is all about.
