Business Women’s Forum (BWF) is will be back on Wednesday, May 17th at Messiah University in the High Center celebrating 29 years of the region’s largest one-day professional development conference for women! This event is hosted by the Carlisle Area and West Shore Chambers of Commerce. Our mission is to provide opportunities for business women of all professional levels to network, create business contacts, and develop additional leadership skills in a motivational and supportive environment.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Laurie Guest! A Midwest farmer’s daughter, Laurie learned to master the art of customer engagement at just 9 years old, selling more sweet corn than her competition. Today, her sought-after keynote programs on delivering exceptional customer service experiences —as informative as they are entertaining —have helped thousands of leaders and teams across a variety of industries. Laurie’s programs reveal the customer service essentials that everyone on the team, from CEOs to front-line staff, must know to stand out in the marketplace. Delivered in her signature relatable style, a keynote program from Laurie is certain to be a valuable, memorable experience for everyone. In her Keynote for us, Laurie teaches us about “The 10 Cent Decision: How Small Change Pays Off Big”!

Attendees of BWF can network with other individuals from a variety of backgrounds and organizations. They get a chance to develop their professional skills by attending any of the offered breakout sessions. Because the event allows the attendees to rejuvenate and reinvent themselves professionally, socially, and personally; everyone who attends considers this event a “must” and return year after year.
