Get Ready To Tee Off At Our Golf FORE Business! Outing!

We’re a little more than a month away from our business-focused golf outing taking place on August 26th with a 1:00 pm shotgun start at Rich Valley Golf. Attendees will spend the day networking, building relationships, meeting potential customers, and having a great time! This fun-filled day includes a networking lunch starting at 11:00 am, with a DJ from Klock Entertainment spinning the tunes, where all attendees can network and visit with our event sponsors.

Our hole sponsorships are only $350 so if you aren’t able to get out on the course as a golfer you can visit with all of them while they play through! You receive a tee sign, flag at the same hole, and an exclusive spot on the tee at the outing for this low price. It’s a great way to get your small business on the course in front of the day’s golfers!

If you’re looking for a team-building event we have a mini-golf and networking lunch option as well! For just $25 each, you can enjoy the lunch with everyone and then play the mini golf course right there at Rich Valley. There is a place for everyone at this golf outing so come on out and join us to visit with your fellow members and reserve your spot here!

Our Nonprofit Beneficiary member who will receive a portion of the event proceeds is: Midwest Food BankIn Pennsylvania, an estimated 1 in 8 households suffers from food insecurity. An equally troubling number is the 40% of food that is wasted. Food supply is not the problem; distribution is the problem. Midwest Food Bank gathers up that excess food and gets it into the hands of those in need.

Our PA division, located in Middletown, PA, is working with 200 feeding agency partners and we continue to grow. In 2021, our first year of operation, we distributed over $7 million in food in PA, NJ, and NY. Our partners include food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, residential programs, and child feeding programs. Our 2022 goal is to distribute $15 million dollars in food to even more partners and community programs.

Midwest Food Bank, Pennsylvania, is geographically situated to provide disaster relief when needed as well as serve need in surrounding states. We serve as a first responder to the Salvation Army, and our PA location positions us to get food to Pennsylvania and states along the Eastern Seaboard upon receiving the call for help.

A key strength of MFB operations is the development and utilization of volunteers. Our volunteers are more than our hands and feet; they are fundamental to the success of our organization. They collect, sort, pack, and distribute food and disaster relief donations, and remind us every day that our mission could not be achieved without them. This allows us to distribute food at no cost to nonprofits, food pantries, and other organizations we serve.

99% of every dollar goes directly to serve those in need (only 1% goes to management & general costs) and every $1 donated becomes $30 or more of food distributed to those in need. Charity Navigator has awarded four out of four possible stars to Midwest Food Bank (MFB) since 2011. Receiving four stars indicates that our organization adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way. We have also been added to Forbes Top 100 Charities list.
