What services or products does your business offer?
PRworks is a strategic public relations and marketing firm with a presence in Harrisburg and the Williamsport area. Our mission is to bring about positive outcomes for clients and those they serve by providing services grounded in strategy and with the highest integrity. Services include: Research; Brand Strategy; Creative and Design; Content Marketing; Digital Marketing; Websites; Media Relations; Community Relations; and Issues and Crisis Counsel.
How does your business separate itself from your competition?
People often think of “PR” as merely a press release or “marketing” as a paid ad. Those are tactics that absolutely play a role. But at PRworks, true public relations and marketing is rooted in planning and strategy. When applied strategically, our fields of expertise have the power to drive an organization forward in all the ways that matter most — building awareness, engaging stakeholders, cultivating relationships and achieving business objectives. We also believe the best work and results come to life through a collaborative approach. No egos here. Rather, relationships based on teamwork and trust.
How do you see your business growing in the future?

How does your business get involved in the community?
PRworks team members are actively involved in the community personally and professionally. We donate time to participate on various workgroups and committees for non-profit organizations including Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and United Way of the Capital Region. We also place an emphasis on education and professional development. Two of our team members serve on an academic department advisory counsel at Shippensburg University. Our principal serves as co-chair of a professional accreditation program for the Public Relations Society of America’s Central Pennsylvania chapter and is an instructor for the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) program nationally.
How long has your business been a member of the Chamber?
PRworks has been a Chamber member for almost two decades. Bob Saline, who founded PRworks in 2001 with his wife and business partner Deborah Saline, was a Chamber board director who served as vice chair of public relations and marketing. The Chamber recognized Bob’s commitment to living the Chamber’s brand by honoring him with the Edward M. Messner Inspiring Business Award in 2009. The Salines have since retired and Jason Kirsch assumed leadership of PRworks in 2017. Jason, who has 24 years of industry experience, is active in the ChamberConnects group. The group develops member-to-member relationships and aims to develop business based on those relationships.
How has Chamber membership been beneficial to your business?
Membership in the Chamber is valuable to PRworks in so many ways. Events and networking opportunities enable us to make new connections and re-connect with colleagues we’ve known for years. Groups like ChamberConnects help us build deeper relationships, and provide a forum to share and receive referrals for new business. The Chamber also brings value to the work we do on behalf of clients who seek to promote their businesses and reach decision-makers in our region’s business community. We are advocates for Chamber membership!
