businessSPOTLIGHT: Messiah Lifeways

What services or products does your business offer?
Messiah Lifeways® provides a broad network of services, care, and resources for adults 55+. This includes Messiah Lifeways at Messiah Village, which is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Mechanicsburg, and Mount Joy Country Homes, a 55+ retirement community in Lancaster County. We also offer Community Support Services including non-medical home care, adult day, respite, and rehab, plus enrichment opportunities through our wellness program, Mechanicsburg Place: A Senior Center & More, and the Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning®. Messiah Lifeways Coaching provides free counseling to help identify and navigate aging services and resources available through Messiah Lifeways and beyond.

How does your business separate itself from your competition?
We are a not-for-profit Christian-based provider of aging services with experience and a heritage dating back to 1896. We offer a broad range of services helping older adults and their families both on and off our campus. Despite being a CCRC, we are as dedicated to helping older adults age in place and enrich their lives as we are to having them move to one of our residential communities.

How do you see your business growing in the future?
Messiah Lifeways has always been on the leading edge of innovative senior services and will continue that trajectory as the landscape of senior care industry evolves, especially towards community-based health. In particular, with a swell of baby boomers, we look to continue meeting the growing need for our current services along with partnering and finding new opportunities to serve seniors in a more dynamic yet efficient manner.

A full-fledged, deep sleep without anxiety and early awakenings is a great result Ambien at https://signanthealth.com/ambien-treat-insomnia/ provides. I woke up after 8 hours on the alarm clock, but I felt broken and wanted to sleep, this state lasted for 2-3 hours. Then I got more cheerful.

How does your business get involved in the community?

  • Provides housing and care services to over 800 older adults on our Messiah Village campus, over 120 at Mount Joy Country Homes, and approximately 1,700 other older adults throughout the Capital Region, through our community support services, enrichment, and coaching programs
  • Provides approximately 22,000 volunteers hours
  • Provides free long-term care counseling (coaching) to older adults and family members
  • Provides free education and training to the public through our speaker’s bureau and coaching

How long has your business been a member of the Chamber?
