West Shore Chamber of Commerce

businessSPOTLIGHT: Keller Williams of Central PA – Julie Hess Team

What services or products does your business offer?
We provide Residential Real Estate services. We assist people in buying, selling, or investing in real estate in both resale and new-build opportunities.

How does your business separate itself from your competition?
Our Team is very intentional about building strong relationships with the clients we serve. When someone hires us, we want to be their realtor for life, not just their realtor for today. It’s important for us to foster those relationships so they understand how much we appreciate them and their support for our business. Beyond their first transaction with us, we pride ourselves on being a point of support and education on how they can build their wealth in real estate going forward.

How do you see your business growing in the future?
We will grow to add more agents and staff to our Team in an effort to more easily help a larger number of people. A great thing about Keller Williams is that we have the opportunity to grow into other geographical locations, so that’s something we’re working towards.

How does your business get involved in the community?
We like to think of ourselves as “connecters” to the community. When we see a need, we rally our past clients and business supporters to connect them to an opportunity to give back locally. Several times a year we partner with the Capital Area Intermediate Unit and a few local schools to give back. In Spring, we sponsor, collect and donate Easter Baskets for families in need. In April we gathered 51 baskets for kids who wouldn’t otherwise have one. This Summer we partnered to provide recess equipment for a new Harrisburg school. In the Fall we sponsor an event where we work with our clients to create, gather, and donate “Blessing Baskets”. These baskets are filled with all the fixings of a Thanksgiving Dinner plus some additional items. This fall we anticipate providing these baskets to 60 local families. While these are our staple events, we always have our ears open so that we can help someone in need.

How long has your business been a member of the Chamber?
10 years

How has Chamber membership been beneficial to your business?
By attending networking events we have been able to connect with and learn about many other local businesses that we can then turn around and connect our clients with.
