West Shore Chamber of Commerce

Are You Attending BWF’s 30th Anniversary?

You can’t afford to miss the 30th annual Business Women’s Forum (BWF)! This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at the High Center at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg. BWF is the largest one-day professional development conference for women in the central Pennsylvania region. This event is hosted by the Carlisle Area Chamber and West Shore Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation. Our mission is to provide opportunities for business women of all professional levels to network, create business contacts, and develop additional leadership skills in a motivational and supportive environment.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Leigh Hurst, Founder of the Feel Your Boobies® Foundation. Leigh was never meant to start the Feel Your Boobies® Foundation. In fact, she never thought much about breast cancer at all. Until she was diagnosed with it in 2004. She was 33 years old. Leigh’s Keynote Address will be “What if Today is YOUR day?” where she will focus on how small changes can have a BIG impact in your life.

Attendees of BWF can network with other individuals from a variety of backgrounds and organizations. They get a chance to develop their professional skills by attending any of the offered breakout sessions. Because the event allows the attendees to rejuvenate and reinvent themselves professionally, socially, and personally; everyone who attends considers this event a “must” and return year after year.
