The Annual Luminary Awards highlights all nominee finalists and recognizes two Chamber business women nominated by their peers. A donation will be made to a Chamber nonprofit member of the award winners’ choice in their honor.

The nominees must be an employee of a West Shore Chamber of Commerce member and will be recognized for their outstanding character, commitment, professional achievement, stellar performance, and attitude in the following categories:

Shining Star Award

• Holds a non-executive position within their place of employment
• Volunteers within the community
• Seeks to continually improve themselves both professionally and personally
• Is a strong team player

Visionary Award

• Holds an executive leadership position within their place of employment
• Demonstrates community leadership
• Contributes to the success of women of any age
• Facilitates team building through her vision and leadership

Individuals that have been nominated previously but have not been a recipient of the awards will be considered. Previous award recipients can be found on our Nominations & Awards Page.

Nominations for our Annual Luminary Awards are due by March 30th at 11:59 PM.

The award recipients and nominee finalists will be chosen through a blind review process by a West Shore Chamber of Commerce Committee. The 2025 Annual Luminary Awards will be held in person on September 4, 2025, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Penn Harris Hotel and will highlight all nominee finalists. Each nominee finalist will receive a complimentary ticket and an additional one for a guest. The event is open to the public and we invite everyone to gather to celebrate these deserving women!
